  • Carsen Edwards PG | DET

Carsen Edwards: Signs with Turkish club

Edwards signed a one-year contract with Turkish club Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul on Sunday.

Edwards will make the jump to Europe after he struggled to gain much traction as an NBA player since being selected early in the second round of the 2019 NBA Draft. The 5-foot-11 guard proved to be one of the G League's most dynamic scorers during the 2019-20 and 2021-22 campaigns, but he averaged only 3.7 points (on 36.4 percent shooting from the field), 1.1 rebounds and 0.7 assists in 9.8 minutes over 72 appearances across the last three seasons with the Celtics and Pistons.

  • Armoni Brooks PG | TOR

    Armoni Brooks: Waived by Toronto

Brooks was waived by the Raptors on Saturday, Blake Murphy of The Athletic reports.

The Raptors wanted to open up another training camp spot. Brooks appeared in 54 games last season between the Rockets and Raptors, averaging 5.3 points, 1.9 rebounds and 1.1 assists in 15.6 minutes.

  • Nuggets' Collin Gillespie: Out indefinitely

Gillespie will be out indefinitely after suffering a lower left leg fracture earlier in the week, Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports reports.

Gillespie has already undergone surgery as a result of the injury. He recently signed with the Nuggets as an undrafted free agent. The point guard was hoping to earn a roster spot during training camp, but he will now have to refocus his sights on his recovery.

  • Warriors' Ryan Rollins: Strikes deal with Golden State

Rollins (foot) agreed Thursday on a three-year, $4.76 million contract with the Warriors, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.

The No. 44 overall pick in June's draft was unable to participate in Summer League play for the Warriors after he was diagnosed with a stress fracture in his right foot shortly after being selected, but it won't deter Golden State from guaranteeing the first two years of his deal. Rollins' availability for the start of training camp is up in the air.

  • Zavier Simpson PG | OKC

    Magic's Zavier Simpson: Joins Orlando

Simpson and the Magic agreed on a contract Friday, Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports reports.

Simpson made his NBA debut last season on a 10-day contract with the Thunder at the end of the year. He saw an absurd 43.5 minutes per game in four appearances and averaged 11.0 points, 7.5 assists, 5.3 rebounds, 1.3 steals and 1.0 blocks as OKC tanked down the stretch. He was also part of OKC's G League team, where he averaged 14.6 points, 6.5 assists, 5.1 rebounds and 1.8 steals in 32.4 minutes across 35 regular-season appearances. With the Magic, he'll join the team for camp but will presumably be a staple with the G League team in Lakeland.

  • Eric Paschall PF | UTA

Timberwolves' Eric Paschall: Signs deal with Minnesota

Paschall agreed to a one-year, two-way deal with the Timberwolves on Friday, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.

After averaging career lows across the board during his first and only season with Jazz, Paschall is aiming for a fresh start in Minnesota. The Timberwolves mark the third team that the Villanova product has played for in just his fourth season. Paschall is slated to compete against Kyle Anderson, Naz Reid and Jaden McDaniels for playing time. The 25-year-old remains a weak fantasy option entering the 2022-23 season, especially since being on a two-way deal means he'll spend plenty of time in the G League.

  • Kendrick Nunn SG | LAL

Lakers' Kendrick Nunn: Says he's fully healthy

Nunn (knee) said Tuesday that he feels 100 percent healthy, per Spectrum SportsNet.

Nunn missed all of 2021-22 due to a right knee injury suffered in the preseason. Unsurprisingly, he exercised his player option for 2022-23 and is expected to be a part of the Lakers' plans for this upcoming season. Two seasons ago with Miami, he saw 29.5 minutes per game and averaged 14.6 points, 3.2 rebounds and 2.6 assists. He's expected to fight for backup guard minutes this season with Austin Reaves, Lonnie Walker and others.

  • Moses Wright PF | DAL

    Moses Wright: Signs overseas contract

Wright has agreed to a deal with the Zhejiang Lions of the Chinese Basketball Association, Keith Smith of Spotrac.com reports.

Wright spent the last year on a two-way contract with the Mavericks, but the 6-foot-9 center is slated to play overseas in China for the upcoming season. The Georgia Tech product averaged 19.7 points and 9.3 rebounds across his 29 total appearances in the G League last year.

  • Myles Powell PG | PHI

    Myles Powell: Lands contract overseas

Powell has signed with a team in China, Keith Smith of Spotrac.com reports.

Powell was a two-way player for Philadelphia last year and averaged 1.2 points in 4.7 minutes per game over 11 appearances with the 76ers. He'll attempt to take on more work while playing overseas.

  • Wizards' Cassius Winston: Heading to Germany

Winston has signed with Bayern Munich for the upcoming season, Keith Smith of Spotrac.com reports.

After appearing in 29 total games for the Wizards over the past two years, Winston is now slated to play for Bayern Munich. The Michigan State product will attempt to carve out a starting role with his new team during the 2022-23 season.
